Garden Design Process

1. Site Survey
The initial site inspection, or Site Analysis, the Site Survey is an essential first step in the design process.
2. Concept Plans
The next step is the concept stage, which involves presenting the client with the Concept Plan which articulates the garden’s general themes and purposes.
3. Visualisations & Mood Boards
At this stage, the client is presented with hand-drawn visualisations of the proposed garden, following the agreed-upon plan, with specifications for heights, levels, features, planting, furniture and other design ideas/elements.
4. The Build
Once the Master Plan has been established the creation or build can begin following the written specification of the construction.
5. Planting
Toward the end of the process, the Planting Detail adds a highly interesting aspect to the design project – the selection of the plants to feature in the garden. This is an important stage that has to be carefully considered.
